Celebrate the 4th – Eastside Style

There is no better community activity over the Summer than a good old-fashioned July 4th celebration. And, if you live on the Eastside, you have plenty of options to pick and choose the event that’s best for you and your family. Below is a list of the major celebrations that have fireworks for public viewing. Remember, fireworks are illegal in most cities in King County so be safe. Admission is free to each one so go early, stay late and celebrate!

Fourth on the Plateau
Come to the Sammamish Commons Plaza at City Hall for an evening of celebration with Food Trucks, Kids Activities, an Outdoor Yard Games area and more Giveaways! The event kicks off at 6 pm with the fireworks show happening at 10 pm.

Bellevue Family 4th
The Eastside’s largest Independence Day celebration will attract over 60,000 people who will gather to enjoy live music, kid’s activities, a variety of food options, and family entertainment, all leading up to a spectacular fireworks show set to a rousing performance by the Bellevue Youth Symphony. Activities kick off early afternoon at the Bellevue Downtown Park.

Celebrate Kirkland! 4th of July
A children’s walking parade starts at 11:30 followed by the Old Fashioned Downtown parade at noon. After the parade, join your friends and neighbors for music and food options at Marina Park. And, you won’t want to miss the fireworks display beginning at 10:15pm off Marina Park with viewing from most downtown waterfront locations.

Carnation 4th Celebration
Celebrate America’s birthday with a Parade, 5K Run/Walk, Pancake Breakfast, Live Music, ​3-on-3 Basketball, Car Show, Vendor Village – featuring Food/Arts & Crafts, Bouncy Toys, Beer Garden, Sno-Valley Senior’s famous ‘Strawberry Shortcake Feast’, and of course at dusk the Fireworks Display — all in beautiful downtown Carnation!
